Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28th, 1967. She is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer started her acting career when she was when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as playing the character of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Her siblings include three. As a teenager was a nightclub singer in the night, as well as sneaking out of her house to sing. From the Wooster School at the age of thirteen, she began studying drama. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, under the famous professor Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. Her birth date was the 28th of April, 1967 and was raised in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her father is an German American policeman, as well as an auto salesman. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. Kari performed in nightclubs while she was a teenager. Kari would get away from home and perform. Kari started studying acting when she was just 13 years old. She then studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and with Uta Hagen who was a famous instructor. Kari began acting when she was still a teenager. Her first major breakthrough with MTV Remote Control in 1987.
